Ankur Lighting opened in 1979 as a single showroom in Delhi, founded by Late Shree R. K. Shah. It now runs two manufacturing plants and five showrooms across Delhi NCR, and holds a catalogue of more than 6,000 SKUs shipped nationwide.
What separates us is range. Most lighting businesses in India trade either technical or decorative lighting, rarely both and seldom at scale. Ankur leads across all five categories: technical, decorative, outdoor, utility and fully customised. And in a sector that remains largely unorganised, we run an organised business — consistent stock, documented specifications, and a warranty you can hold us to.
For B2B clients that extends well past supply. We design the scheme, calculate lux levels, install lighting management and automation systems, and carry the annual maintenance contract afterwards. A hotel group can specify a pendant from the catalogue, have the matching sconces built to their own dimensions at our plant, and have the layout planned, commissioned and maintained by the same firm.
That is why Taj, DLF, Haldiram, KFC, Google and Microsoft have all worked with us, and why an architect can hand us a floor plan rather than a shopping list.
